Welcome to the Tri-C Adjunct Faculty Conference 2026!

This year, our theme is The Anchor and the Sail: Stability, Direction, and Growth for the Modern Adjunct Educator.

In a landscape of continuous change, adjunct faculty are essential: they serve as both the Anchor, providing stability and core commitment in the classroom, and the Sail, charting a course for professional and student growth.

Our conference will explore how faculty can enhance their teaching practices to support student success and help all stakeholders navigate the evolving landscape of higher education.

Submission Details

Proposal submission is now open! We invite you to submit proposals for 45-minute interactive presentations to be delivered synchronously via Webex. Share the strategies you use to embody The Anchor and the Sail in your teaching.

As you prepare your submission, please consider the following guiding questions related to our theme:

Stability (The Anchor)
What foundational practices do you use to provide a sense of security and stability for enhanced student learning?

Direction (The Sail)
What technology, course designs, or communication strategies have you adopted to promote clear direction and measurable learning outcomes?

Growth
How do your teaching and learning strategies foster personal and academic growth for all students, inspiring them toward continued success?
