The Adjunct Development and Professional Training (ADAPT) program enhances teaching effectiveness through events and workshops focused on:
Adjuncts are eligible to receive a $500 stipend after completing 10 Stipend Eligible Units (SEUs) through Tri-C. Recognizing that valuable professional development can also occur outside the College, this form must be completed and approved prior to attending any external workshop for it to be considered stipend-eligible. Once submitted, the Adjunct Services office will review the request and notify you of the decision.

Note: Meetings that are primarily informational or administrative are not eligible. SEUs are awarded based on content and learning outcomes — not workshop duration alone. Multi-day or full-day workshops may be considered for additional SEUs.
Volunteer Opportunities for SEUs While the core focus of the stipend is professional development through workshops, recent programs (like ADAPT Track III) suggest that certain structured, campus-based volunteer or service roles may qualify for SEUs under the College, Campus, and Community Impact category.
